Is there a way to get non-English language transcriptions using the Zoom Phone API?
Specifically:
- Can I get a Japanese Transcription using the API?
- How do I get that?

The transcription should be of the language being spoken. At this time, there is not a translation feature for recorded calls but this is a good idea for #feature-requests !

But that is not what I want to do.
What I want to do is this:
Our users are speaking Japanese on their Zoom Phone.
So I would like to get Japanese transcriptions.
But I don’t expect that to be possible.
Because the transcription feature of Zoom Phone API only supports English.
In other words, this feature is only for English speakers.
Is that right? Or if there is a feature for that, could you please let me know?
Ahh I see, you are right @am-ma , only English is supported for recorded transcription, but I believe we have some apps in our Marketplace that can help with this like “Automated Transcription” by Sonix.ai:
