The iOS and Android mobile SDKs do not automatically scroll down when the chat is open.
This has been happening for months and I see no fixes for this.

I just got hold of the relevant engineers and also tested the behavior on my device. The SDK does not automatically scroll to the latest chat when another remote user sends a new message but there is an indicator that says “x new message” and the user can click on it to scroll down to the latest if need be. We do not want to disrupt users by immediately scrolling through the latest messages they have received as they might be scrolling through the chat. However with that being said, if the local user is currently not at the latest messages and has sent a new message then it will show his/her latest sent messages.

Can we have a change to this as we have many users complaining that they cannot see the messages and it is always delayed.
