Is it possible to override the names / username of meeting participants?

Description
In meetings and transcripts, users are labelled with their Zoom account names, which in many cases are real first and last names. In order to protect privacy, is it possible to override or suppress the user information of meeting participants either when creating the meeting or when participants join? In our case this is needed for GDPR compliance.

Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?
This is a JWT app, but we also use webhooks.

Which Endpoint/s?
https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/[accountId]/meetings

Hey @ptrin,

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. Currently, there isn’t a way to change the display names of users that are logged in. If a user is logged in they have accepted our privacy policy and terms of service so their data, as it relates to GDPR, is handled by us.

We take steps to ensure that users that are not logged in are compliant with GDPR as well. For more information please see the following forum posts:

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks,
Max
