Join meeting not allowing local recording

Using the Windows C++ SDK. Joining a meeting and supplying a user name. Even if the meeting host grants permission to the joined SDK user to perform local recordings, it is not possible to do so.

This appears to be a change somewhere in the Zoom server permissions policies? This used to work, and now it doesn’t, and the program has not changed.

Is there anything that I can do on the SDK side to re-enable this capability?

Sorry, I missed this message. The Zoom SDK version number is:

v5.0.24433.0616

Hey @cboggs,

Unfortunately, that SDK version is very out of date. However, the newest version of the SDK supports local recording and appears to be functioning properly.
Can you update to the latest version and try again?
