I have a question about the functionality of the LTI Pro app.
We integrate LTI Pro with Canvas at the account level. One of our partners has recently seen student meetings, scheduled through the LTI connector, appearing in the ‘Previous Meetings’ and ‘Upcoming Meetings’ tab of the Zoom iframe within Canvas.
Although I have looked through the documentation I cannot find answers to these two questions:
a) is this expected behavior? I understand there is different functionality for students vs. instructors for scheduling meetings.
b) Can student-created meetings be excluded from the “Previous Meeting” tab, as only regular, faculty led Live Sessions should appear there.
The closest info I can find in the documentation discusses controlling the visibility of cloud recordings for students, but this is not about recordings/the cloud recordings tab, it’s about the student-created meetings showing up in both the Previous and Upcoming meeting lists.
Our partner seems to think that this is a new behavior. It’s possible, however, that it simply is very uncommon for students to create meetings from within Canvas, and this behavior hasn’t shown up before.
