We have an app registered in the Zoom App Marketplace, and OAuth authentication suddenly started failing with the following error:
“Invalid Client ID: [REDACTED] (4,700)”
Key points:
- No configuration changes were made on our system or in the Zoom Marketplace settings.
- OAuth authentication worked normally until 2025-08-08 08:59:35 UTC (confirmed in our logs).
- The same error now occurs in both Production and Development environments.
- The app remains active in the Marketplace dashboard.
- Client ID is omitted here for security, but can be shared privately with Zoom staff if needed.
This issue is currently impacting our service.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues or know if there could be any internal changes affecting Client IDs?
