We are facing repeated delays and confusion with the Zoom API app approval process. Each time we submit, instead of receiving a full list of requirements, we are provided with new items one by one, which forces us into a cycle of resubmissions. This piecemeal feedback has made it difficult to finalize the app and is slowing down our platform launch and instructor onboarding.
We’d appreciate guidance on how to streamline this process, receive the complete list of requirements upfront, and ensure a smoother path to approval. Has anyone else experienced this challenge, and are there best practices or escalation methods to resolve it more efficiently?
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve experienced with the app approval process. We definitely understand how important it is to get your app live quickly, especially when it impacts your platform launch and instructor onboarding.
Could you please share the name of your app? This will allow us to review your submission history, identify where the friction points occurred, and guide you through the process more efficiently.
We appreciate your patience and for bringing this to our attention, we’d like to work with you to make the review process smoother.
First of all, thank you for reaching out. The major blocker with the submission is that we could not complete testing because your current app authorization is using the Development Credentials for the current flow. In your most recent submission, this has been resolved, but there is still another issue preventing us from creating a meeting. I also included a link in the reviewer notes that will allow us to have a meeting so we can address the remaining issue in one sitting to speed up the review for you
