Problem: We are using a GET Call to the Zoom V2 “phone/user/{userId}/ai_call_summary/{aiCallSummaryId}“ API with aiCallSummaryIds provided by Zoom. In the Zoom web portal UI, these call summaries are not found.
Context: Issue only recently started occurring frequently. We have been facing this issue frequently since 1/18/2026
Error Message: “Message: call summary not found“ (404 error)
We’re facing this issue. It seems Zoom previously did not create an AI Call Summary ID when there wasn’t much of a conversation (eg, less than 5 seconds), but now they are and leading to a huge amount of 404 errors. That’s not a hard rule though, some of the calls are longer where we would expect a call summary to be available and still getting 404 errors, where we never did before 1/18/26.
