Settings username with "uname" parameter in join_url

Hello,

We need to include the UserName in the Join URL (for Guest access to our Meetings - we use the registration system, but need to set manually the username).

Until few days ago, it used to work with the “uname” parameter in the URL.
https://zoom.us/j/123456?uname=UserName

It’s not working anymore. Any alternative (besides creating a new registrant each time)?

Could you please share with me how were you setting this param up?
What process/ API were you following?

I’m using the “join_url” generated by https://api.zoom.us/v2/meetings/{MeetingID}/registrants
And adding the “uname” parameter to the URL.

It worked for many years and it stopped working few days ago…
