I’m trying to build a Zoom General (OAuth) app that uses Realtime Media Streams (RTMS) to receive live meeting transcriptions and forward them to my local application. However, I’m encountering an issue and could use your guidance.
What I’m Trying to Achieve
Create a Zoom app that captures real-time meeting transcripts via RTMS.
Send the transcript data to my local endpoint (e.g., using ngrok during development).
What I’ve Done So Far
Created a General (OAuth) app in the Zoom Developer Dashboard.
Configured the necessary redirect URLs and OAuth settings.
Went to the Scopes section to add RTMS-related scopes like:
meeting:read:meeting_transcript
meeting:read:meeting_audio
meeting:read:meeting_video
meeting:read:meeting_chat
meeting:read:meeting_screenshare
But none of these scopes appear. I can’t find the option to enable RTMS or add those granular scopes.
What I Expected
I expected to see an option in the app features like “Add RTMS features” or “Realtime Media Streams”, which would then make the relevant scopes available. However, there is no such option in my app’s UI or features panel.
My Questions for the Community
Do I need specific permissions or access (for example, a Developer Pack or special licensing) to enable RTMS features?
Is RTMS only available after certain prerequisites are met?
Are there known limitations that could prevent these scopes from appearing?
Has anyone faced this, and how did you resolve it?

I’m having the same problem. It looks like these scopes have been removed by Zoom, and have disappeared overnight from an app we had in development that used to have meeting:read:meeting_transcript applied to it.
I can no longer find this scope to add it back.
Further, the app is no longer visible in my profile settings to be able to set it to auto start with meetings.
Same here it was working in the day but at night it stopped working.
and not even appering in the Zoom apps sections. Have you found any solution I think it is to do some thing with Pro or free plan because currently I am using free teir of zoom.
Same here. I have an app in BETA, being used by customers and it’s suddenly all gone! The entire thing is gone just like that. Zoom support, can you please help with urgency?
no one responding from the zoom team its been a week thats how they are gaining trust at least reply us what is the issue ? and how it can be resolved ?
