We use a Server-to-Server OAuth app for an internal system that automatically assigns and removes paid Zoom licenses.
Previously, after changing our Zoom account owner, API calls from this system started failing. To prevent this from happening again, we attempted to transfer ownership of the Server-to-Server OAuth app to the new administrator before changing the Zoom account owner.
However, when we select “Transfer App Owner” from the Created Apps page, the following error appears:
Missing Permissions
User and Permission Management > View “Revenue Accelerator Account Settings”
Our account does not subscribe to or use Zoom Revenue Accelerator. The Revenue Accelerator tab and related roles are therefore not displayed under User Management > Roles, so we cannot grant the requested permission.
Could you please advise:
- Why is Revenue Accelerator permission required to transfer this app?
- Is this caused by a scope or setting in the existing app?
- How can we transfer the app owner without affecting the existing API integration?
