Unable to view admin managed app in zoom client

Hey everyone,

We’re currently facing an issue while trying to replicate a user-managed app to an admin-managed one for beta testing. Despite our attempts to test it without publishing, we’re unable to see it in the Zoom client.

We’ve experimented with a Local Test, and while the app appears in the browser preview, it’s missing from the Zoom client. Moreover, we’re unable to add users to the admin-managed app.

Any ideas on what we might be overlooking? We’ve had success testing and adding users to the user-managed app, but we’re encountering roadblocks with the admin-managed version.

yes, I created the app in marketplace.

Zoom Apps are only supported by User Managed apps. If you have created a user-managed app then changing it to an admin-managed app will revert any selected features:

Upon selecting your admin-managed app for use with a meeting you’ll see that Zoom App features are no longer available:

What’s your use case for moving to an admin-managed app?

Currently with user managed app, zoom account user has to search and install from marketplace. We wanted to see the options for admin managed apps where the admins can install app for their users.

Is it not possible for zoom apps?
