Dear Zoom Dev Team. Can you please provide more information regarding supported browser list for Web SDK. More specifically as per this page: https://github.com/zoom/sample-app-web (table: “Video, Computer Audio and Sharing Supported browser” ) are there any plans to extend the ‘Computer Audio’ and ‘Screen Sharing’ features to be supported for FF and Safari browsers as well? What are the technical challenges with these two browsers to support the mentioned features?

Here is more informatin about our Zoom Web Client/SDK cross browser functionality.

“Screensharing on Microsoft Edge requires Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise. It is not supported on Windows 10 Home. If you are running Windows 10 Home and need to share your screen, we recommend using Chrome or Firefox.”

“Joining computer audio on Firefox, Safari, and Edge is only available for webinar attendees. Meeting participants and webinar hosts and panelists can also join computer audio on Firefox if they are using Linux.”

Yes we are working on providing these features across all browsers. You can follow our release log here.
