WebSDK on iOS: Cannot hear audio from the host of the webinar

Description
We are using the WebSDK to present the webinar into an iOS application. We are doing it through a WebView, but we cannot hear anything and we cannot join by audio, though the same URL is working fine on Desktop’s safari.

  1. How can we make the attendees hear the audio of the host without joining with their mics ?
  2. On Desktop’s Safari we get two options to hear the voice, either ‘Join by computer audio’ or ‘Join by phone number’, but on iOS we get one option only which is ‘Join by phone number’. Why ?

WebSDK v1.7.5

To Reproduce(If applicable)
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Embed the URL of the WebSDK Sample into an iOS WebView
  2. Join any Webinar
  3. Now you cannot hear anything and you cannot join by audio, but you can see the video going.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: iOS Simulator
  • OS: iOS 13.4.1
  • Browser: Safari WebView

Hey @bader,

Zoom Webinars by default do not allow attendees to join with audio. Webinar attendees are view only.

Attendees should be able to hear.

Currently mobile browsers have limited support for joining with computer audio and video.
