Hi @malvika.ite,

Have you tried enabling join_before_host? Let me know if this thread helps:

Thanks,
Will

Hello Will,

Thanks for the reply. I went through the forum link you mentioned. And yes we haven’t enabled join_before_host option, because we specifically do not want that.

Now, still i don’t understand how this option will help here? Host should be anyway able to start the meeting, if the zoom meeting is created (that we do via create meeting API) and also should be able to use start url, which is generated and returned by start meeting API result.

Hi @malvika.ite,

Thanks for reviewing that thread and for letting me know that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

In taking a closer look at the meeting, I noticed that it appears to have been deleted on 2021-06-12. Do you know on what date you saw this message? This might explain the issue.

Let me know when you have a chance, thanks!
Will

Hello Will,

Thanks for the prompt replies.
I can provide all the details with timings around here.

Zoom meeting created around: 2021-06-12 13:00:00 (UTC)
Attempt to start the zoom meeting around: 2021-06-12 14:00:00 (UTC)
Zoom meeting deleted around: 2021-06-12 16:00:00(UTC)

Basically, it was not deleted when Host were trying to start it.

Hi @malvika.ite,

Thank you for confirming—I will be happy to look into this further for you. Can I kindly ask that you share these details with me directly at developersupport@zoom.us and include a link to this thread? I will work with you directly there.

Best,
Will

Sure, i can do that. Thank you :+1:

Thank you for submitting a ticket! We’ll follow up with you there.

Hello There, Was this issue resolved? If yes, could you please share the solution, my team is also facing somewhat similar issue.

Regards,
Team TDen

how do I join the zoom

We were facing the same issue this morning with more than 200 meetings, the fastest and not recommended solution that we used was recreating all the meetings again.

All the meetings were created through API during this week.

Thanks for sharing @iguzman!

For context, this issue most often occurs if the meeting has been deleted or if the host has been removed.

Thanks,
Wil
