We’ll sign up for Zoom Phone soon. We have a need to use Zapier to send over our contacts from our CRM. We would also like to be able to send SMS from Zoom Phone using Zapier. What is the timeline to update Zapier for this functionality? It’s disappointing that there is so much missing from the Zoom:Zapier integration.

Unfortunately as we do not build the Zapier integration, we do not have a timeline, but happy to help you in finding a workaround for your integration
OK ill say what needs saying AND ask the hard questions.
Its 2025 whats the holdup? Zoom phone is how many years old? Your Losing Customers. No small business owner that values automation will want to use zoom phone when it creates more work for us and our employees.
Worst part is zoom phone is one of the more stable VOIP solutiuons but naturally it doesnt talk to anything…Phones are the first line of offense and key to having a professional business. Why would you not port to any crms or anything?? This points to a souless corporate structure pandering to its investors not its customers. Get it together Zoom.
Give zoom a dedicated app and port it to Zapier at least so you dont have to make a bunch of integrations for each software. Your a software company and you know this already. Why are you choosing to not move forward with bettering your software? Your telling US 1 dev with 3 months cant create a port for just contacts and call logs…Lies.
Raise the price and get it done, listen to your customers for the Love of everything business.

I wanted to come here to update this thread. I reached out to the PM for Zoom Phone and they confirmed that the integration with Zapier is in our roadmap and to be expected in the next two quarters.
@AgileCabinetry I have passed on the need to integrate SMS APIs to the product team on this too

We use zoom meetings and the integration with zapier has been performing well. But when it comes to phone, we’re not able to get the recordings as a proper file as well as the transcription are not in the same format as meetings. Is there a workaround to get the transcript in the vtt format for the zoom phones as well? Also is there any update on the timeline for direct integration instead of webhooks for zoom phone.
