Zoom Domain Validation – HTML file is empty, DNS TXT also empty

Zoom Apps Configuration

Laravel on AWS EC2, domain: english-course [dot] duckdns [dot] org, using Zoom Web SDK (Component View)

Description

When trying to validate my domain using the HTML method, Zoom provides a file named html.txt, but the file is completely empty.

Instructions say to upload it as .html to the root of the domain — which I did, and confirmed it’s accessible and returns 200 OK.

However, verification fails, and since the file is empty, I can’t correct anything.

I then tried the DNS TXT method, but Zoom also shows an empty value after zoom-domain-verification=, so I can’t add a valid TXT record either.

Error

  • HTML file is empty — no verification string included
  • DNS TXT value is also empty
  • Verification fails in both cases

Tried:

  • Uploading file exactly as received
  • Confirmed 200 OK response
  • DNS attempt blocked by missing TXT value

Please help resolve the domain verification issue. I cannot proceed with app submission.
