When a user joins a Zoom meeting via a link (example: Google Calendar), Zoom will only stay signed in if the application is already open. If the Zoom application was quit and is opening via meeting link, it will not sign in - even if the user was previously signed in to Zoom.
As a result, the user has to sign into Zoom each time they join a meeting. User settings like virtual background and host settings do automatically apply to the user.
Does anyone know any workarounds or why this behavior exists? It’s highly frustrating for users that do not keep the application running in the background, because they have to log in to the application each time it launches. The “keep me signed in” feature does not help.
