Description
I am trying to discover a way to apply the license to the zoom/user in order to be to apply the next step of a calling plan to that zoom phone user.

I am finding in the documentation of process (via zoom gui) that a license is applied to a zoom user, which I believe creates the zoom phone user element. Is there a way to perform this step via API ? I do not see any way on modify of zoom user to apply phone licensing.

Good question—you should be able to apply a zoom phone license to a user following these steps below. Let me know if this is what you’re looking for:

@dscott @michael.elbel @dscott After checking with an internal resource, I can confirm that it should be possible to handle this programmatically. First, to create a Zoom Phone User, you can do so via our Update User Settings endpoint. You will send a PATCH request and pass the following body for a given User ID: { "feature": { "zoom_phone": true } } This will apply a Zoom Phone license to the user, and you should then be able to take actions such as assigning a number, extension, et…
