Zoom registration email not being sent when registrants is approved via API (JWT)

Description
When someone registers for a meeting that requires approval, once we approve the registrant through the API the registration confirmation email is not sent by Zoom.

How To Reproduce (If applicable)
If you create a meeting that requires approval for registrants and try to approve the registrant through the API, the registrant gets approved (you can double-check in the Zoom dashboard/meeting details) but the confirmation email sent by Zoom is not fired. It does get fired if you cancel the registration via the API, but not when you approve. Also, if you approve the registrant in the Zoom portal under the meeting details, the email gets sent. The only scenario where the registrant doesn’t get emails is when they are approved via the API.

In that email, please include a Meeting ID where you saw this happen. I’ll use that to investigate further.
