Zoom room schedule display update


We have set up the backend zoom calendar integration with our exchange system and have a couple of our zoom rooms integrated through the process. When a calendar event is added to an exchange calendar for an integrated room though the exchange webservices, the room schedule display does not update. We’ve also tried this with manually adding a calendar event to the rooms calendar via outlook for the room and have seen timing issues as to several minutes or not at all on the update in rooms display.

If you click “refresh” in the zoom room schedule display, it does display the events that were added to the exchange calendar. It seems like there is a poll or event that triggers the update of the rooms display by retrieving the calendar events for the room via the integration.

Is there a way to have the room schedule display update within a reasonable period of time from when a calendar event was added on the exchange side?

Additionally, how are you adding the calendar events (i.e. via SDK)?

Thank you for your reply. The issue is not with the exchange webservices as far as we can tell. The response returns no error and the appointment is added to the exchange calendar as expected. The issue is that in order for the appointment to show up in the zoom room schedule display, we have to refresh the zoom room meeting list display.

Shouldn’t the zoom room meeting list schedule display update automatically when appointments are added to the backing exchange calendar it is integrated with?

Thank you for your update here. Please send an email to developersupport@zoom.us with a link to this thread. In that email, please include the room where you are attempting to create these events as well as the email of the calendar that you’ve integrated.

I’ll use that to look into this further.
