Hello everyone,
We are currently supporting a client who uses the Zoom LTI integration with their LMS. We’ve encountered an issue and would appreciate any insights or guidance.
Here’s the scenario:
• The client initially set up a Zoom meeting for a specific course (“Class 1”). Students in Class 1 can access the meeting’s recordings without any problems. Even though the meeting itself disappears from the schedule after a month, the associated recording remains accessible to these students.
• The client then created a second course (“Class 2”) by cloning the settings from Class 1, including the same Zoom meeting. However, students enrolled in Class 2 do not see any of the recordings. The recordings simply never appear for them, even though both classes are linked to the same Zoom meeting.
We’ve verified that the LTI configuration for making recordings accessible to students is correct. The only difference we can identify is that Class 2 was created as a clone of Class 1. Despite using the same meeting, Class 2’s students are unable to access its recordings.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have suggestions on what might be causing this discrepancy? Are there any additional LTI configuration steps we might be missing for cloned classes? Any tips or known workarounds would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!
