Recording.Viewed Event Doesn't Fire

Hi there,

We’ve set up an app to send a webhook message when a recording has been viewed.
The documentation for this webhook is listed here: Zoom API Events - Meeting

What we’re finding is that even though a recording is viewed, and it’s being marked as viewed within the Zoom UI, it’s not firing the webhook.

To test this, we added 2 events to the app:

  • View registrant has registered
  • Recording viewed

When we test both cases, only the first event fires. Is there something we’re missing for the recording viewed event that would trigger this?

Hi Elisa, thanks for the response. Yes, I can confirm that we have a Pro plan, cloud recording is enabled and we’ve followed the instructions listed in the on-demand doc.
