In the description it’s mentioned, " This field is only for recurring meetings with fixed times ( 8 ). This value defaults to 1.
What does fixed times(8) indicates? Does the meeting needs to be exactly of 8 reccurence?

The type 8 means that this will be a recurring meeting with fixed time (the meeting will be scheduled to a specific time) and it does not mean that it will be 8 occurrences, it only means that it will have a fixed time.
