I am encountering an issue with the List Meeting Participants QoS API(https://api.zoom.us/v2/metrics/meetings/:meetingId/participants/qos), where packet loss for screen sharing is not being reported. However, packet loss for audio and video streams is reported correctly.
In November 2024, similar tests were conducted using a network emulator, and packet loss for screen sharing was reported as expected. However, in December 2024, after conducting several tests, I noticed that no packet loss metrics were recorded for screen sharing, despite no changes being made to the emulator’s settings.
Here are the key details:
Network Emulator Configuration:
All traffic (no specific port or protocol excluded) was configured to experience packet loss.
Despite this, only screen sharing seems to show no packet loss.

Potential Difference:
In November, the “Optimize for video sharing” option during screen sharing was enabled.
